Assist members with account questions and service member financial needs in a call center. Solves member concerns and performs necessary account maintenance functions. Ensures that positive relationships are built between members and Dow Chemical Employees' Credit Union.

Essential Duties
  • Communicates with members and performs tasks such as the opening of new member accounts, member account maintenance, and remote transactions by phone, fax, secure email or online chat discussions
  • Answers member inquiries for credit card accounts and balances, remote service products, existing loans and mortgages
  • Prepares wire transfers for members according to authority established by credit union policy
  • Cross-sell products and services to members
  • Investigates and resolves online banking account lockouts
  • Participates in regulations training and supports department through maintaining knowledge of current policy and regulations
  • Participates as a member of departmental and cross-departmental teams
  • Backs up the Account Services department as necessary
  • Accomplishes the credit union's mission by completing relevant duties as needed as requested by management or other staff members
Education Requirement

High school diploma or equivalency required

Years of Experience

Six months to two years of experience with member/customer service, preferably in a call center environment
